He joined Toshiba Corporation in 2014 and has 11 years of R&D and business development experience in CMOS image sensors and their applications in life sciences. He was selected as a “Next Innovator 2016” sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and was inspired by the startup ecosystem.
In 2018, he proposed a start-up new business development program within Toshiba, and in 2019, he became a project manager in the New Business Promotion Office.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo and a Master of Engineering degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. (After joining Toshiba Corporation, he was engaged in the development of cutting-edge ICs until 2008. In recognition of his achievements, he studied at the California Institute of Technology for a year and a half from 2008 with the mission of developing and launching new products and new businesses.
In 2020, he was appointed as a Fellow of Toshiba Research and Development Center, and in May 2021, he founded our company and retired from Toshiba at the end of June.
