He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo and a Master of Engineering degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. （After joining Toshiba Corporation, he was engaged in the development of cutting-edge ICs until 2008. In recognition of his achievements, he studied at the California Institute of Technology for a year and a half from 2008 with the mission of developing and launching new products and new businesses.

In 2020, he was appointed as a Fellow of Toshiba Research and Development Center, and in May 2021, he founded our company and retired from Toshiba at the end of June.

With experience in the investment banking division of a securities firm and as CFO of a biotech venture focused on regenerative medicine and drug development, joined the company in September 2024 as CFO, following financial and corporate management support under a consulting arrangement since June 2022. Appointed Director in October 2025.

    Started the development of cell observation technology using CMOS image sensors at Toshiba’s Research and Development Center.

    July-October

    Participated in “BRAVE,” an acceleration program sponsored by Beyond Next Ventures

    Begin the commercialization project at Toshiba’s New Business Development Office

  4. 2021
    May

    Establishment of the Company

  5. June

    Carve-out from Toshiba Corporation and raise a seed round of funding from Beyond Next Ventures

  6. July

    Commencement of business

    Adopted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as a project to support the creation of secondment startups.
